My new book In This Body is finally available in stores and online!
This is an illustrated book for all ages about the journey of being in a body that is forever changing and growing as we move through life. It’s about learning to accept the changes that are out of our control, learning to find peace with the parts of ourselves we don’t always enjoy, and working out what self-love means to us on an individual level.

Smiling Mind x BIC Intensity
I’m thrilled to be part of this year’s Smiling Mind x BIC Intensity artist series which looks at different ways of supporting our minds through creativity. The activity I have designed is called My Safe Haven and focuses on putting together an image of calmness - the space you can put yourself into mentally when the world around you feels a bit too noisy. Turn your little haven into an outdoor picnic space, a magical world of stars and rainbows or a cosy little corner filled with all the things that make you feel good like tea, books and puppies.

Little Yellow Bird x Ruby Jones
I’m thrilled to share with you my recent collaboration with one of my favourite Wellington companies Little Yellow Bird. Together we have created the Finding Joy t-shirt, baby onesie and baby leggings. Worldwide shipping is available and a portion of proceeds from each sale will be donated to Women’s Refuge.
About the design:
The idea for this design came from a series of illustrations I did which focused on tiny things that were enough to make today a good day. For example, maybe a nice sandwich is enough to make today a good day. Perhaps it’s a pretty flower, a cute little bug you’ve found or a well-sharpened pencil. It’s essentially about finding joy in all the small things.

The Listener Christmas issue cover
It was a real treat to be able to end 2021 with a cover illustration for the Listener magazine. I wanted the image to show a moment of quiet love at the end of a big year, as well a little bit of hope on the horizon for 2022.

Like Bodies, Like Minds
Like Bodies, Like Minds is a project I recently worked on with Angela Barnett. It includes a series of stories and illustrations that share the experience of negative (or positive) body image and mental distress from seven people across the youth, BIPOC, rainbow, and access needs communities. Like Bodies, Like Minds launched on Stuff in Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 and will also appear in Impower magazine going out to high schools in 2022, aiming to reduce the mental distress caused by comments about bodies.

Thanks From Iso with Accor Hotels
Since March 2020, thousands of New Zealanders have experienced a 14-day managed isolation stay in hotels around the country in order to return home. Accor New Zealand invited me to collaborate with them and bring these experiences to life in an artist-in-residency at Allpress Studio Auckland from Tuesday 24 November – Monday 7 December called ‘Thanks from Iso’. During my stay I interviewed a number of returnees and frontline workers to find out how the experience had been for them and did my best to illustrate their often very personal stories. The exhibition travelled around the country and also spent a month on display in the Beehive.
